Pluck’s first public beta brought the same focused cleanup idea to both Mac and Windows: show what can be removed, keep the decision understandable, and avoid treating every large folder as disposable.
Complete app removal
Choose an installed app and Pluck identifies related support files that may otherwise remain behind. The selection is visible before the uninstall action, so app removal is not an unexplained one-click deletion.
Careful storage recovery
The Reclaim view separates general free or purgeable capacity from concrete cache, log, development, temporary, and other recreatable items. People can review and select those items rather than accepting a broad automatic cleanup.
Ordinary cache cleanup is not intended to target saved passwords or personal documents. Pluck focuses on narrow, high-confidence locations and keeps user choice in the loop.
Small system presence
Pluck stays in the Mac menu bar or Windows taskbar and opens only when needed. The public beta provides dedicated installers for Apple-silicon Macs and 64-bit Windows 10 or 11.
