Pluck 0.1.2 was publicly released September 23, 2026 for Apple-silicon Macs and 64-bit Windows. It updates the installed-app list without making people start their selection over.
Installed apps stay current
The Mac and Windows installed-app views now refresh while they are visible. There is also a manual Refresh control when someone wants to check immediately after installing or removing a program.
Pluck preserves the selected items across a refresh instead of losing the pending review. Stable identifiers on Windows and cached app sizes on Mac reduce flicker and repeated work.
Public beta packages
The version appears in the Windows package and Mac build metadata. The official MadeByGoodTools GitHub release contains matching Mac and Windows installers.
These installers are still unsigned beta builds. People should download only from the official product page or release and use the Good Tools first-time installation guide if their operating system shows an unknown-publisher prompt.
