Tumblr Community Reblogger

One confirmation for several Communities

The browser-specific Tumblr Community Reblogger packages were validated with multi-select destinations, one batch confirmation, visible progress, retries, and destination safety checks.

AvailabilityFirefox, Brave, and Zen packages validated. No live multi-Community batch was submitted during this milestone.

Tumblr Community Reblogger was created for one narrow workflow: choosing several joined Communities, reviewing the complete destination list once, and then completing the familiar Tumblr reblog flow for each one.

01

Tumblr stays in control

The extension adds multi-select controls to Tumblr’s own Community destination picker rather than inventing an undocumented publishing endpoint. Firefox and Zen use Firefox WebExtensions, while Brave uses the Chromium extension model.

After one batch confirmation, the extension reopens and submits the normal Tumblr composer sequentially for each chosen Community.

02

Visible progress and retries

The toolbar view distinguishes pending, posting, retrying, posted, and failed destinations. A failure remains visible instead of being counted as a silent success, and the user can follow the batch while continuing to browse.

03

Destination safety

Before submission, the intended Community is checked twice. If Tumblr falls back to the user’s home blog or another unintended destination, the extension refuses to post rather than guessing.
