Tumblr Community Reblogger 1.5.7 is a small Chromium-specific reliability release. It corrects how the extension presents its icons in browsers that could not consistently decode the previous SVG assets. The source, package, and GitHub release are dated September 20, 2026.
What changed
The Chromium manifest and notification code now point to PNG icons instead of SVG files. The release includes the standard 16, 32, 48, and 128 pixel sizes used in browser interfaces.
This addresses an icon-decoding problem seen in Brave and potentially other Chromium-based browsers. The Community selection, confirmation, progress, retry, and destination checks are unchanged from 1.5.6.
Two browser packages
The version 1.5.7 ZIP is for Chromium-based browsers. Firefox and Zen use their separate 1.5.6 XPI because this icon fix does not require a Firefox rebuild.
Browser-store listings have their own review and rollout schedules. The confirmed 1.5.7 download is the official MadeByGoodTools GitHub release, linked from the Good Tools product page.
Release evidence
The Chromium manifest reports version 1.5.7, the changelog records the icon fix, and the GitHub release includes the matching Chromium ZIP published September 20. The new PNG files are present in the source package.
