Qu for Tumblr 0.8.9 makes captions more expressive without breaking the organized batch workflow. Formatting is prepared visually, kept with the draft, and translated into Tumblr’s native post format when publishing.
Tumblr-native typography
Caption text can use Tumblr’s regular style, large or medium headings, handwritten text, quotes, and chat. The editor previews the selected style so the result is understandable before a post joins the queue.
The chosen style remains attached when a post is saved as a draft or template, duplicated, or published later.
Color and hyperlinks
Selected caption text can receive a color or a web hyperlink instead of forcing one format across the complete caption. Only normal HTTP and HTTPS links are accepted; unsafe link schemes are removed before Tumblr receives the post.
Color and link ranges are checked against the caption before publishing, keeping the final Tumblr post data valid even after earlier edits.
Updates and account connection
Qu now includes an automatic updater connected to the Good Tools release channel, making future desktop updates easier to receive.
The authorization service and callback page were checked live for this release. The callback now uses the MadeByGoodTools address consistently across the app, source, and documentation.
Available now
Version 0.8.9 is available as a 64-bit Windows installer and a universal Mac installer for Intel and Apple-silicon Macs. The Mac package is not Apple-notarized, so macOS may ask for confirmation the first time it opens.
