Pinfolio is a live browser beta for keeping project materials and feedback together. This October 28 introduction covers the source and successful deployment completed late October 27, 2026 in Saskatchewan, following development through October 26–27.
One project, organized into decks
Bring uploaded photos, playable video, documents, website links, Canva references, and notes into one project board. Custom-named decks let people separate ideas, deliverables, references, or revisions without scattering the project across messages.
Decks hold up to fifty cards before a separate deck begins. Cards can be browsed as a stack or opened together, and discussion can stay at the project level or attach to the specific card that needs attention. This keeps feedback connected to the material it describes.
Collaboration and viewing have different controls
Owners can choose viewing or collaboration access. Collaborators add a name that is remembered in that browser, then can contribute, upload, and comment according to the board’s permissions. A board-only viewing code gives access to the latest board without editing, uploading, commenting, or opening the rest of a profile.
Pinning a finished deck protects its cards, name, and position from other collaborators. The person who pinned it and the project owner can change or unpin it. Other collaborators can continue reviewing and commenting. Shared links and codes grant access to their recipients, so share them with the intended people.
Take a deck with you
Deck downloads include original uploaded files in their original formats, note text, and an About this deck text file that preserves the card context. Numbered file names preserve order and avoid common filename collisions across operating systems.
Website, Canva, and linked-video cards are saved as shortcuts. A deck ZIP does not turn externally linked services into offline copies or guarantee continued access to those external destinations.
Live beta status
The reviewed source matches the successful web deployment completed October 27 at 11:33 PM in Saskatchewan. The beta is accessible at pinfolio.goodtools.ca.
Shared boards stay live as collaborators contribute. Use collaboration access for people adding material and the board-only viewing code for people who only need to see the current project.
