Firefox store versions confirmed for GifGrab and Nicely

A fresh check of the local source and official Firefox packages confirms GifGrab Collector 0.3.3 and Nicely 1.0.4 are publicly available. Their product pages now show the correct versions, and Nicely’s Firefox download uses the current store package.

AvailabilityStatus correction verified November 6, 2026, not a new release today. Mozilla records September 24 and September 30 UTC review dates for these Firefox packages. Both require Firefox 142 or newer.

The November 6, 2026 check found that two Firefox store versions were newer than the status shown on the Good Tools website. GifGrab Collector 0.3.3 and Nicely 1.0.4 were already public. This note corrects that information and the Nicely Firefox download; it does not announce new releases on November 6.

01

GifGrab Collector is available as Firefox 0.3.3

The Firefox Add-ons record lists GifGrab Collector for Firefox 0.3.3 as public. Its review timestamp is September 24, 2026 at 09:51 UTC, which is September 24 in Saskatchewan. The downloaded package identifies itself as 0.3.3 and matches the version and extension identity in the local Firefox source.

The GifGrab product page no longer says that 0.3.3 is submitted for review. Its Firefox button opens the official listing and states the package’s Firefox 142 minimum version.

The collector and desktop app use separate version numbers. The current public GifGrab desktop downloads remain 0.3.8; the Chromium Web Store collector listing shows 0.3.1. Confirmation of Firefox 0.3.3 does not imply that the Chromium store has approved the same version.

02

Nicely’s Firefox download now follows the store version

The public Nicely Firefox package is 1.0.4, matching the local Firefox 1.0.4 build output. Mozilla’s review timestamp is September 30, 2026 at 05:01 UTC: late September 29 in Saskatchewan. These dates belong to the original store review, rather than this November 6 website correction.

The product page now states Firefox 1.0.4 and links its Firefox download directly to the official Mozilla XPI package. The Firefox store button remains available for people who prefer to install through the listing. Both labels state Firefox 142 or newer.

The public Chromium manual-install ZIP on GitHub remains 1.0.2. A local Chromium 1.0.4 output also exists, but this check did not find a corresponding newer public GitHub release. That local build has not been substituted into the public download button.

Checked against actual packages

The check began with local product source, manifests, build outputs, and recent repository history. It then used Mozilla’s current add-on records and downloaded both official XPI files. Each package’s SHA-256 matched the hash supplied by Mozilla.

The package manifests agree with the corresponding local Firefox folders on name, version, extension identity, permissions, and Firefox settings. The compared JavaScript, HTML, and CSS files also matched. These checks establish the package versions behind the links; they are not a new browser compatibility or security certification.

No extension was installed, no store submission was changed, and no unreleased Chromium package was published. The website’s existing app and extension layout is retained.
