DrivePack

Folders stay folders

DrivePack’s first packaged build could combine Google Drive selections and local files while preserving folder names, nested paths, and empty folders inside one ZIP.

DrivePack’s first packaged build proved the core promise: several Drive folders and local files can become one ZIP without losing the organization that made those folders useful.

01

Structure is preserved

Every selected folder remains a separate, original-named root inside the ZIP. Nested folders keep their paths, and empty folders are included instead of silently disappearing.

If separate selections share the same root name, DrivePack can distinguish them with a readable suffix rather than merging unrelated contents together.

02

Drive and local files together

The workspace supports Google Drive selections alongside files and folders chosen from the computer. Google Workspace documents use practical export formats: Docs become DOCX, Sheets become XLSX, Slides become PPTX, Drawings become PDF, and Apps Script projects become JSON.

03

Larger archive work

ZIP64 support allows archives to grow beyond older ZIP limits. Progress, cancellation, retries, fast store mode, and a skipped-file report are designed to make long packaging jobs understandable and recoverable.
